Christophe, the baker of Castillon prepares an excellent traditionnal bread, fougasses and pastries, to be savoured in the sun with a little "café noir » at the terrace of one of the center village's café. He also makes tasty cakes to order for your birthdays and events.
Convivial wine bar nestled under the arcades of the Place aux Herbes d'Uzès, simple and delicious menu, where you can enjoy small plates of charcoal grilled marinated calamaris, Thai beef salad, pan con tomato, Baba ganoush, croque-monsieur... or more solid dishes of meat or fish of the day. We just adore it!
Seasonal and gourmet cuisine with a warm welcome in Castillon-du-Gard
Located in Argilliers (on the road to Uzès, about 10mn from the villa) chef Numa offers a simple but but thoughtful seasonal menu. open for lunch during the week, and in the evening on Fridays and Saturdays. booking in advance is highly recommended.
Two complementary restaurants run by one family located in the village of Castillon du Gard. The first, gastronomic, is one of the best tables in the region. The second serves traditional Provencal cuisine on wooden boards. (5 mn drive)
